Chittoor: Minister for Industries N Amarnath Reddy said that YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Mohana Reddy had made irrelevant, irresponsible and politically motivated statements against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over the alleged and unfortunate incident that occurred during the visit of BJP National president Amit Shaw to Tirumala. The Chief Minister had already condemned the incident and asserted that nobody would be spared if proved fault at Alipiri alleged attack, the minister pointed out.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Amaranath Reddy stated that no TDP activist had resorted to take law and order into his hands. `` In order to express serious resentment of the state against the Prime Minister’s vindictive attitude towards AP in rejecting the Special Category Status, the TDP leaders of Chittoor district staged a peaceful protest in a democratic manner during Shah visit.

But the BJP activists made futile effort to derive political mileage on the developments charging that TDP cadres pelted stones on the convoy of Amit Shaw “ he explained . He made it clear that TDP would never resort to anti- democratic ways and Chief Minister would never allow such tendencies in the party to defame the credibility of government.

Amarnath Reddy slammed that that Jaganmohan Reddy was resorting for false and baseless allegations against the Chief Minister only to get favour from Prime Minister. He regretted that the opposition leader was supporting the Prime Minister deliberately in order to safe guard his illegal interests . He exuded confidence that BJP would face a humiliating defeat in Karnataka polls as the Telugu speaking voters in the state have openly showed their irate against BJP functionaries.

The Minister further said that agitation for exerting pressure on the Central Government would be intensified from grass root level.” Our fight would continue for ever until we succeed in the demand of SCS. Jagan Mohan Reddy , opposition leader would join hands with BJP before the next elections . TDP would regain its power again and N Chandrababu Naidu would become Chief Minister again,’’ he added.
