Newly-appointed state BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana countered the recent comments of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over his appointment.
Vijayawada: Newly-appointed state BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana countered the recent comments of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over his appointment.
The Chief Minister would see him whether he is a new poojari or leader, he said. Kanna Lakshminarayana visited the BJP state office here on Wednesday and assumed office.
On the occasion, Lakshminarayana said that Naidu was making allegations on the nexus among Opposition parties for gaining political mileage and reiterated that the BJP implemented 80 per cent of the assurances made in AP Reorganisation Act.
He criticised the state government for ignoring safety aspect in boat operations in rivers. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has a habit of forgetting the incidents like boat accident though several people lost their lives, he said and added that he never took serious measures to curb such incidents.
