Amaravati: YSR Congress Party held state-wide ‘Collectorate Muttadi’ (siege of collectorates) in all 13 districts highlighting the Telugu Desam government’s failures and unfulfilled promises and submitted a memorandum at the collectorates.

The Collectorate Muttadi is part of party campaign “Vanchana Pai Grajana,” the two-day padayatra launched by party on May 14 in all 175 assembly constituencies.

The party leadership, coordinators and district units of frontal organisations led the collectorate marchs. As part of the protest, party supporters and sympathisers wore plain black ribbons as arm bands to show their anger towards the TDP government

The party said the march to collectorate, which was conducted aftermath the padayatra, witnessed huge turnout of public across the state. Pamphlets were distributed across for exposing the betrayal politics of Chandrababu Naidu.

In a press release on Wednesday, YSRCP national general secretary and MP Vijayasai Reddy said Naidu has looted pubic exchequer and amassed wealth of Rs 3 lakh crores in foreign banks. “Women are not safe in the state during Naidu’s regime. What is the purpose of his deeksha on May 22, for someone who doesn’t have any integrity and accountability?” he asked.
