Hyderabad: BJP faulted the TTD Board for its decision to fix the retirement age of priests in the temple ignoring the age old traditions. Taking the board to task while addressing media here on Thursday, AP BJP Election Committee convener Somu Veerraju said that the chief priest of the temple Ramana Deekshitulu had only highlighted how certain temple traditions have been increasingly getting violated.

Terming the actions of the board “deeply hurting the devotees of Lord Balaji”, he said that Dharma is in trouble in Andhra Pradesh, which has become a choultry for any stranger to come and go.
