Vijayawada: The All India Brahmin Federation (AIBF) leader MLN Srinivas and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Jinka Chakradhar alleged that the ruling party was taking unlawful action against the TTD temple chief priest Ramana Dikshitulu for speaking against the temples administration.

Addressing the gathering here on Thursday, Srinivas said that the holy Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam (TTD) was in the news every day on various issues. He alleged that Ramana Dikshitulu (chief priest) was suspended for questioning about the interference of politicians in each and every aspect, including performing of pujas at the temple.

He blamed the ruling party dominance for forcing the priests to be tight-lipped on speaking the truth. VHP leader Chakradhar stated it is not right to criticise Dikshitulu and demanded that the government unconditionally reinstate him as the chief priest.

He said that all the Brahmin Associations were uniting to fight for justice in favour of Dikshitulu. He said that all the Brahmin Associations were also getting ready to stage protests against the government in this regard in Tirupati soon.
