Srikakulam: Corruption-free transactions would be improved soon at all the district and sub-treasury offices across the state, said special chief secretary for finance M Ravichandra. He addressed the treasury employees state-level meeting here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government introduced Comprehensive Finance Management System (CFMS) for quick services and to prevent corruption at all levels. He suggested treasury employees and officers to learn CFMS transactions carefully and implement it.

Payment of pensions to retired employees and its policy also to be simplified by taking welfare of retired employees into consideration. New buildings also proposed to construct for the district treasury offices and sub-treasury offices (DTO, STO) across the state, he said.

Nine buildings for DTOs were proposed in nine districts at an estimated cost of Rs 90 crore, 66 buildings were proposed for STOs at an estimated cost of Rs 65.25 crore, the special chief secretary elaborated.

AP Treasury Employees Association president G Rav iKumar, general secretary K Raj Kumar, treasury officers, employees across the state attended. Later, employees felicitated the special chief secretary for his remarkable service to the department.
