The state government proposed to set up set up Tiger Safaris and Deer parks in Rajahmundry and Kurnool. In the recent Collectors’ conference, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials take steps to set up Tiger Safaris and Deer Parks in Rajamahendravaram and in Kurnool. 

Guntur: The state government proposed to set up set up Tiger Safaris and Deer parks in Rajahmundry and Kurnool. In the recent Collectors’ conference, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials take steps to set up Tiger Safaris and Deer Parks in Rajamahendravaram and in Kurnool.

Following the instructions, the Forest Department will conduct a feasibility study and submit a report to the government. After that it will take steps up to set up Tiger Safaris and Deer Parks. The government is feeling that Tigers Safaris will attract the tourists as they come with their families and children to enjoy.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests P Mallikarjuna Rao said ``First we will conduct feasibility study at Rajahmundry and Kurnool submit a report. After that we will take further steps. Tigers Safaris and Deer Parks will attract the tourists. At present people are going to Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad, Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park in Tirupati and Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Visakhapatnam to see the animals.
