Vijayawada: CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna said that BJP has no right to criticise the Telugu Desam in the case of defections. Addressing the media persons here on Sunday, he said that Prime Minister Narendra and BJP national president Amit Shah openly misused their power to encourage defections in Karnataka elections and even after polls.

There was no time to BJP to buy MLAs due to Supreme Court verdict, he said. The CPI leader also wondered as to how the BJP leaders were blaming Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for defections. The BJP has no moral right to criticise any political party in the country, he said.

The people of the country are observing the developments and undemocratic attitude of BJP leaders and they would teach fitting lesson to the BJP in other States also. The anti BJP forces should unite and save the country, he said.

He welcomed Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan’s bus yatra and said that the problems of people could be identified through interacting with the public. The Left parties would cooperate to highlight the people’s issues, he said.
