YSRCP senior leader Somayajulu passes away
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) senior leader and political affairs committee member D A Somayajulu (64) passed away here in the early hours of Sunday. He is survived by his wife and a son. He breathed his last around 3.14 am on Sunday. Somayajulu had been suffering from prolonged illness.
Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) senior leader and political affairs committee member D A Somayajulu (64) passed away here in the early hours of Sunday. He is survived by his wife and a son. He breathed his last around 3.14 am on Sunday. Somayajulu had been suffering from prolonged illness.
Somayajulu served as advisor to the Congress government from 2004 to 2009 and he also held the post of Deputy Chairman, Agriculture Technology Mission.
YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy mourned the death D A Somayajulu. As soon as he learnt about the news, Jagan immediately called off his Padayatra and reached Somayajulu's house at Mehdipatnam in Hyderabad.
YS Jagan is on Praja Sankalpa Yatra in West Godavari district. Jagan paid homage to the party advisor and consoled his family members. Along with the party chief, YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma also reached Somayajulu's house and expressed her condolences to the bereaved family members.
