The state government will organise ‘Rayala Vaibhavam\', a light and music show in the city soon. The main aim of the show is to recall the era of Srikrishna Devarayalu. The buildings, forts and other belongings of the Rayala regime, including the heritage, culture and history, would be exhibited with colourful light and music.

Vijayawada: The state government will organise ‘Rayala Vaibhavam', a light and music show in the city soon. The main aim of the show is to recall the era of Srikrishna Devarayalu. The buildings, forts and other belongings of the Rayala regime, including the heritage, culture and history, would be exhibited with colourful light and music.

The people, especially children, can enjoy the summer with Rayala Vaibhavam while it's an opportunity to know the ancient history and culture. Interestingly, the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Language and Cultural Department of the state government are jointly conducting the event.

Swaraj Maidan, also known as PWD grounds and Siddhartha Academy sites are under consideration to conduct the event. The ancient Rayala era model structures are also part of the exhibition. It is a unique exhibition and the visitors can experience the life in the Srikrishna Deva Rayala era. In this backdrop, a huge space is required for the event.

Apart from this, the tourism and culture departments will also set up stalls in the exhibition. The Shilparamam and DWACRA groups would also establish stalls, said Mukesh Kumar Meena, secretary of the tourism department. He said that the state government contemplating to organise the event taking it as prestigious.

Moreover, the local artisans and artistes would also be given an opportunity to exhibit their talent. The artists from Bengaluru would also participate, he said. The events in Rayala era and culture would be displayed with laser light and music technology, he said and added that the people could experience the days of Srikrishna Deva Rayalu. The officials of various departments concerned met recently to finalise the arrangements and the schedule, he said.
