Hyderabad: Rain occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, while dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday, with Seethanagaram in Vizianagaram district recording 1 cm of rain. The Met department bulletin said the highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jangamaheswarapuram and Nandyal.

The other temperatures in the State were: Nandigama 40, Kurnool 40, Tirupati 39, Anantapur 39, Nellore 38, Vijayawada 38, Kavali 37, Machilipatnam 37, Ongole 37, Tuni 37, Bapatla 36, Kakinada 36, Visakhapatnam Airport 36, Kadapa 36, Narsapur 35, Kalingapatnam 34, Visakhapatnam 34 and Arogyavaram 33.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places across the State from May 24 to 27. No large change during the period May 28-30 is the weather outlook.
