Youth from Punjab participated in ‘Ek Bharat Shrest Bharat’ programme at Skill Development Institute, Arilova (SDI-A), on Thursday.

Visakhapatnam: Youth from Punjab participated in ‘Ek Bharat Shrest Bharat’ programme at Skill Development Institute, Arilova (SDI-A), on Thursday.

As a part of a 10-day programme organised by the Department of Youth Services, the participants are visiting various organisations and cultural places to promote unity in diversity.

Welcoming the candidates, CV Narasimha Das, institute in-charge, narrated the concept of setting up of skill institutions by the government and the benefits reaped by youth with their proper utilisation.

Manager of SDI-A Sasibhushana Rao explained the use and application of industry-oriented courses and laboratory facilities offered. The youth interacted with the institute trainees and got many of their queries clarified.

Also, they displayed cultural programmes for the trainees and staff of the institute. As many as 250 trainees, faculty and staff were present for the programme.
