Ongole: The state recorded double-digit growth because of the reforms introduced by the TDP, claimed Damacharla Janardhana Rao, president of the Prakasam district party unit and Ongole MLA.

He participated in the district-level Mini Mahanadu of the TDP as chief guest on Friday and asked the party cadres to continue their support to the TDP in future also.

Janardhana Rao said that TDP was the only party which cares for the welfare of its cadre and people.

He explained that the TDP introduced many welfare schemes though the state was suffering from financial crunch after the bifurcation.

The vast experience of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu helped the state to tide over crisis after bifurcation.

The farmers exuded confidence in Naidu and donated 35,000 acres of land for the Amaravati capital construction.

Janaradhana Rao said that the reforms like real-time governance had increased the responsibility of the government and showed better results in no time.

He asked the cadres to observe that the other states were talking about the development in the state and give a fitting reply to the allegations of the opposition parties.

Janardhana Rao listed out the welfare schemes by the government in health, education, industries, housing, roads and challenged that no other party can achieve such development.

The ministers, P Narayana, Siddha Raghavarao, MLAs Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Eluri Sambasivarao, MLCs Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Pothula Suneetha, Karanam Balaram, ZP vice-chairman Nukasani Balaji and others also participated in the meeting.
