Repair Nellore city roads: MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy
Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy staged a protest in front of the Superintending Engineer’s office, Public Health wing, demanding to take up repairs to the city roads and in rural areas that were damaged due to underground drainage and water works.

YSRCP leaders led by MLA raised slogans against the officials of the Public Health department for their negligence. They demanded to repair the damaged roads on war foot basis. Speaking to the media, Sridhar Reddy said they had made several appeals to Corporation and public health authorities to repair the damaged roads. But, they have not responded to our requests, he slammed.
“Contractors, who have taken up UGD and water works in the city have been simply covering the roads with poor quality mud and gravel after digging huge holes. City population is facing difficulties with the damaged road network and health issues due to dust clouds raised from the damaged roads in summer,” said the rural MLA.
There is no coordination between contractors, who have taken up works in the city, alleged Sridhar Reddy. He also said that he had received several complaints from residents of Nellore Rural constituency demanding to restore the roads. Kotamreddy also warned that he would launch an agitation against the official machinery if they fail to cover the potholes. YSRCP leaders and workers were present.
