Tirupati: Joint Commissioner of Police of Vijayawada Ramana Kumar who earlier worked in TTD as chief vigilance and security officer (CVSO) said his mentioning inhis report about the highly valuable pink diamond in Tirumala templeis solely based on the information given by Ramana Deekshitulu alongwith another Archaka Narasimha Deekshitulu who told him during anenquiry on the missing gold dollars worth Rs 15 lakh fromTirumala temple that the precious jewel is missing.

Reacting to Deekshitulu seeking CBI inquiry into his allegation, Ramana bluntly said it was his irregularities that would first come out of atall a probe is taken up.He affirmed that all the jewels in Tirumala temple are safe and secureand urged people not to have any apprehension on Lord’s ornaments.
