IYR faults retirement of priests 

Tirupati: Instead of answering the issues which came to the fore after former Tirumala temple chief priest allegations, the TDP government is indulging in systematic disinformation campaign to silence those critical of the temple administration, said former chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao.

Speaking at a meeting here on Sunday, Rao reiterated that Archakatvam (priesthood) is a Kainkaryam (religious service) as such there is no retirement like other employment in religious institutions governing temples. He reiterated a high level probe to end the allegations and dispel the doubts on Tirumala temple administration.
