Stir against Modi misrule
District Congress leaders staged a protest in the city on Saturday at Ambedkar Statue against four-year miserable rule by Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
Nellore: District Congress leaders staged a protest in the city on Saturday at Ambedkar Statue against four-year miserable rule by Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
They conducted Rana Sankharavam at the statue raising slogans against the NDA government.
DCC President Dr P Krishnaiah addressing the gathering said that the Prime Minister has been acting as a dictator disregarding opinion from other parties and people.
He criticised that the ruling BJP had failed to implement its election manifesto.
He said the Prime Minister failed to bring back black money from abroad, creation of 2 crore jobs to unemployed, and failed to provide benefits to Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation that were mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.
Local leaders CV Sesha Reddy, Ch Devakumar Reddy, P Chenchal Babu Yadav and others were present.
