Hyderabad: BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao dared Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to prove that Telugu people in Karnataka had voted against the BJP.

Addressing the State Executive Meeting here on Monday, he said that Telugu people from Srikakulam, Godavari districts, Nellore, Chittoor to Hyderabad residing in Karnataka had supported BJP.

In the predominantly Telugu populated constituencies like Yelhanka, Bommanahalli, Mahadevapura in Bangaluru and Chitradurga, Rayagada and other districts the BJP had recorded victories proving that they are with BJP.

He said that the leaders and cadre of BJP should remember that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is the most unreliable political leader. Adding, "Betrayal is his life and betrayal is his activity,” Muralidhar Rao said.

Further, he said that Naidu was acting against the spirit of the TDP founder N T Rama Rao who wanted Congress-free country. He pointed out that both the Telugu Chief Ministers Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrashekar Rao had shown their true colours by supporting the Congress supported JD(S) government in Karnataka.

“But, neither the Congress nor the regional party JD(S) could win the election on their own and BJP has become the single largest party which speaks volumes of the wishes of people of Karnataka, “he said. Muralidhar Rao also said that the party had swept the coastal areas winning majority seats as people were fed up with the Congress joining hands with the communal forces.
