Pawan lambasts TDP govt for not allocating funds for Thotapalli

He toured Palakonda, Rajam and Etcherla Assembly segments on Monday as part of his Porata Yatra. Pawan recalled the services rendered to the State by legendary actor and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao on of occasion of his birth anniversary.

The Jana Sena chief had darshan of Goddess Kotadurgamma at Palakonda and later took part in rally. Addressing a public meeting at Palakonda, Pawan alleged that Chandrababu handed over Rs 500 crore worth AP Fibre Net project to an employee of his Heritage Foods Company who is loyal to him.

Pawan pointed out that the government failed to allot Rs 265 crore for Thotapalli Project but it had spent Rs 2,000 crore for Pushkaralu. He criticised the State government for neglecting development in north coastal districts and particularly Srikakulam district.

The Jana Sena president expressed concern over lack of improvement in the lives of tribals in Srikakulam Agency area though the government claimed that it had allocated crores of rupees for their welfare.

“I was pained to see the living conditions of the tribals in the Agency,” he said. Pawan paid rich tributes to body builder and boxer Kodi Rammurthy who hailed from Veeragattam mandal located adjacent to Palakonda in Srikakulam district.

He said he had learnt karate and boxing drawing inspiration from the life of Kodi Rammurthy. Later, Pawan addressed meetings at Rajam and Etcherla segments.
