” TDP leaders and MLAs had been insulting anyone because of political power, they alleged.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Monday, they alleged that the police were showing step-motherly attitude on YSRCP leaders.

They filed FIRs against YSRCP leaders basing on the complaint given by TDP leaders and not considering the complaints given by YSRCP leaders against the MLA and other TDP leaders.

The rural MLA was not coming forward to tender apology and bent on complicating the issue. “Is it possible to morph a photo while it was given live telecast,” they questioned.

They also demanded that the government order for an inquiry into the incident where Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary insulted Dr BR Ambedkar.

Recently the local MP, Maganti Murali Mohan termed Lord Venkateswara Swamy as Venkanna Choudary which created sensation in the state and later the MP apologised to the people.

Minister for Agriculture Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy also used filthy language against TTD former chief priest Ramana Deekshithulu and later said sorry.

Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary who elected five times as MLA not even bothered about the issue. The YSRCP would fight against the government until it withdraws cases foisted against its leaders.

The party leaders P Kiran Kumar Reddy, A Virraju and others were present.
