Athletics team selections
The Krishna District Athletics Association (KDAA) secretary N Nageswara Rao said here on Tuesday that KDAA will conduct Krishna District Athletics team selection trials at Andhra Loyola College grounds on June 2. The selected team will participate in the Andhra Pradesh State Youth Athletics Meet (Under-19).
Vijayawada: The Krishna District Athletics Association (KDAA) secretary N Nageswara Rao said here on Tuesday that KDAA will conduct Krishna District Athletics team selection trials at Andhra Loyola College grounds on June 2. The selected team will participate in the Andhra Pradesh State Youth Athletics Meet (Under-19).
Men and Women Athletics Meet will be organised by Nellore District Athletics Association. He said that the meet will be held on June 6 and 7 at the AC Subba Reddy Stadium in Nellore District.
He said that based on performance at the meet, the Andhra Pradesh Athletics Team will be selected. The selected team will represent the state at the Inter-State Athletic Championship which will be held from June 26 to 29 at Guwahati (Assam), the secretary said.
He informed that the athletes should report on June 2 by 9 am to the association chief coach D N V Vinayaka Prasad at Andhra Loyola College grounds.
