YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy fell sick due to severe heat wave conditions during his Padayatra at Narsapuram on Wednesday. His Padayatra entered 176th day and he covered different villages en route to Narsapuram town on the banks of River Vasistha under the scorching sun.

Due to the heat, Jagan suffered sun stroke and is suffering from fever, headache and cold. The doctors who attended on him said that due to the severe heat conditions, Jagan fell sick. They suggested that the YSRCP chief should take rest for three days.
However, Jagan decided to take only a day’s break on Thursday from the Praja Sankalpa Yatra following pressure from party leaders. Jagan’s Padayatra would resume on June 1.
