Visakhapatnam: The President of Navy Wives Welfare Association (NWWA), Reena Lanba, reviewed the healthcare facilities being provided to naval community at INHS Kalyani on Tuesday. Accompanied by the President, NWWA, Eatern Region, Meena Pawar, the NWWA President visited the family wards and interacted with the women patients.

She distributed gifts to the newborns and their mothers as well as to the expectant mothers. President of NWWA appreciated the efforts put by team Kalyani in providing assisted reproductive techniques as a facility for management of primary infertility patients. The new state-of-the-art facilities created at INHS Kalyani would go a long way in providing better patient care and satisfaction.

Reena Lanba also emphasised that INHS Kalyani could further intensify efforts to create awareness programmes and campaigns towards preventive health care.

She was highly appreciative of the women’s health check-up camp conducted by INHS Kalyani in 2017 and the lecture series related to ‘Swayam Siddha’ contest conducted by NWWA (Eastern Region) in coordination with INHS Kalyani. As a prelude to the forthcoming World Environment Day, Reena Lanba also participated in the sapling plantation drive at lNHS Kalyani.
