Ready to contest from Srikakulam: Pawan Kalyan
Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan said he was ready to contest from Srikakulam in the next general elections. He said,”If the people of Srikakulam want me to contest from the district, I am ready to do so.”
Srikakulam: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan said he was ready to contest from Srikakulam in the next general elections. He said,”If the people of Srikakulam want me to contest from the district, I am ready to do so.”
Pawan took part in an interactive meet with professionals and selective persons at Srikakulam on Tuesday. On the occasion he collected total details about the district.
During discussion, some of the participants suggested him to contest from Itchapuram segment in the ensuing polls. Responding to their proposal, he said he was inspired by people of Srikakulam who are hardworking, calm and innocent. He said that if the people desired that he should contest from Srikakulam, he would contest from the district.
Pawan flayed the TDP government for showing interest to set up nuclear power plant (NPP) at Kovvada in Ranastalam mandal. He said the plant would cause environmental pollution and pose a severe threat to marine resources. He lambasted the government for its failure to provide safe water and proper medicines to kidney patients of Uddanam area.
