Chittoor: Municipal Corporation Commissioner P Obulesh said on Tuesday HNSS water would be diverted to NTR Jalasayam through Adavipalle Reservoir at an estimated cost of Rs 280 crore.
He took charge as the civic chief from the outgoing Chittoor Municipal Commissioner Balasubramanyam two days ago. Obulesh has stated that he would initiate a special drive to increase the property tax collection.
