Vistadome coach fare reduced

Visakhapatnam: In a move to encourage tourists to travel at a cheaper price in Vistadome coach from Araku to Visakhapatnam, the railways decided to reduce the fare in Vistadome fare (executive class) from existing Rs 665 to Rs 565 with immediate effect on an experimental basis for three months.

The Vistadome coach was introduced in April 2017 for the tourists to Araku, attaching to the train 58501 / 58502 Visakhapatnam - Kirandul - Visakhapatnam passengers. From the date of its introduction, it is receiving good patronisation with cent per cent occupancy. Considering the tourists' response, the East Coast Railway took an initiative to reduce the fare in return direction of the passenger train Araku to Visakhapatnam.
