2 stabbed to death in drunken brawl
In a drunken brawl at a bar in Yetimoga fishermen area here on Wednesday, two youth who sustained knife injuries died and the third one is battling for life at the Kakinada government general hospital (KGGH).
Kakinada: In a drunken brawl at a bar in Yetimoga fishermen area here on Wednesday, two youth who sustained knife injuries died and the third one is battling for life at the Kakinada government general hospital (KGGH).
According to sources, Vanamadi Raju, 27, Pantadi Dura Prasad, 24, and Chekka Rajesh, 33, had a heated argument at the wine shop with one Panttadi Nooka Raju, 33 on an incident that occurred at the same place on Tuesday among the four.
When Vanamnadi Raju challenged the accused Nooka Raju for a fight with a beer bottle, Nooka Raju attacked him with a big knife. The other two, Dura Prasad and Rajesh, while trying to intervene in the fight, also sustained severe knife injuries.
While Vanamadi Raju died on the spot, Dura Prasad succumbed to knife injuries at the KGGH. The third person Rajesh is undergoing treatment.
Kakinada Port CI Rajasekher said the accuses Nooka Raju is at large. The port police register the case and investigating.
