Guntur Municipal Corporation bill collector lands in ACB net
The officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a raid on the house of M Madhav, who is working as a bill collector in the Guntur Municipal Corporation at Bharatapet, and on the residence of Chittibabu, a benami of Madhav at Machavaram in Ponnur mandal. Eight teams led by DSP Devanand Santho also conducted raids on the houses of Madhav’s relatives.

Eight teams led by DSP Devanand Santho also conducted raids on the houses of Madhav’s relatives.
They found documents relating to properties disproportionate to his known sources of income of Rs 6 crore so far. Moreover, Madhav failed to produce documents to properties worth Rs 3 crore by the ACB officials. ACB DSP Devanand Santho interrogated him.
Santho said that they carried out raids at seven places in Guntur city and two places in Machavaram and unearthed properties worth Rs 6 crore which were disproportionate to his known sources of income.
