Met department warns EG, WG villages on lightning strike

The latest technology being put to use by the department will be able to pin point the villages that would be struck by thunders and lighting. The deparment has predicted Rajahmundry, Kadiyam and Rajanagaram in East Godavari and Chagallu, Nidadavole, Peravali, Atchanta, Poduru, Penumantra and Penugonda in West Godavari could suffer lightning strikes.
The authorities have warned the people to be careful and not to venture out during the thunderous activity in the skies.
