Vijayawada: The state government is organising Navanirmaana Deeksha at Benz Circle here on Saturday to take oath for rededicating itself to the state development while recalling the injustice done to the Andhra Pradesh due to state bifurcation.

The Krishna district administration made elaborate arrangements for the event. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Cabinet colleagues would participate in the programme. Nearly 25,000 people are expected to take part in the Deeksha.

The district administration arranged the dais at the venue. The city police also took steps for diverting traffic from the Chennai-Howrah national highway to alternative routes. The meeting will commence at 9.00 a.m and ends at 11 am.

The government wants to complete the meeting quickly in view of the scorching heat in the city. The district administration would provide seating facility to all the participants. They would be supplied drinking water and butter milk also to get relief from scorching heat.

The parking place is provided at Jyothi Convention Centre for VIPS. As many as 400 buses are arranged to the venue from various villages in Krishna district. The sanitation would be handled by Vijayawada Municipal Corporation at the venue.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the government machinery to organise the Deekshas in all the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh from June 2 to June 8.

Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues would explain the ongoing developments, pending issues with the Centre and the implementation of AP Reorganisation Act.
