Father held for son’s murder

Nellore: Balaji Nagar cops arrested a person, who allegedly murdered his son. The accused was identified as P Subrahmanyam. According to the city DSP NBM Murali Krishna, Subrahmanyam from third line in Saraswathi Nagar under the Balaji Nagar Police Station limits was having doubt on fidelity of his wife that she was allegedly maintaining illegal affair with another person.

Subrahmanyam attacked P Sukumar on May 26 with a stick he died on the spot. After killing his son, Subrahmanyam fled from the scene. On receiving a complaint, Balaji Nagar cops booked a case. They nabbed Subrahmanyam at JVRR College in the city on May 27 and seized two mobile phones from him. He was produced before the media on Thursday.
