Anantapur: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) Regional Manager Sivasankara Reddy has said that the bank’s turnover increased five-fold to Rs 25,000 crore, including Rs 3,800 crore turnover in the Anantapur region, during the last 12 years.

Addressing the bank customers at the regional office here on Friday in connection with the APGB’s 12th anniversary, he put the priority sector lending in the region at Rs 1,629 crore. He said the non-performing assets of the bank were considerably low.

A blood-donation camp will be organised in the region on June 3 as part of the 12th anniversary celebrations. He said the bank is operating a mobile ATM to provide cash to weaker sections and self-help groups, he said.

Regional Director of Municipal Administration Ravindra Babu lauded the bank services. Chief Manager Mastan Vali, senior managers in the regional office Kameswara Rao and Sankara Narayana, managers of all bank branches in the city and several bank customers participated in the meeting.
