Jagan lacks knowledge on irrigation projects: Uma
Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would launch diaphragm wall of the Polavaram project officially on June 11. Speaking to media here on Saturday, he said 1,397 metresof diaphragm wall works have been completed so far and added only 23 metres works are yet to be completed.Â

Taking strong objection to the comments of YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy, he said that Jagan did not have knowledge on the irrigation projects and added the farmers got nearly Rs 10,000 income from Polavaram canal works. He also asked the Opposition leader as to why he was not raising his voice against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Devinenisaid Jagan should question on Dholera city construction in Gujarat by the Prime Minister.
Stating the Prime Minister was showing partiality towards the state and was working against the Indian constitution, he wondered as to how Jagandid not question Modi at least once in the last four years. He alleged the Opposition leader has nexus with the BJP leaders. Jagan should answer all these things first instead of criticising the Telugu Desam, he said and added people would teach a fitting lesson in the next elections to both the parties.
