Nalanda Degree College, established in 2005, is affiliated to Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur.

The college offers courses in B.Com and B.Sc with options of mathematics, electronics, physics, chemistry, microbiology and biotechnology.
The college is offering several facilities like library, laboratories for all the science groups, sports and games, career guidance, personality development classes etc., for the overall development of the students.
According to the management, they are focussing on inculcating the students with honesty, discipline, human values along with quality education. The college has hostel facility for girl students with ensure safety and security.
Nalanda Degree College is the centre for the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to impart job-oriented online and offline courses at free of cost to the students and also to the unemployed graduates from outside the campus.
Several prominent companies like IBM, HGS, Serco, TVS, First Source etc., are conducting campus drives in the college for the last 2 years.
A total of 105 candidates were selected and got appointed in various positions during the past 3 academic years.
In the year 2015-16, a total of 31 candidates got selected and appointed by HGS and Serco. Another 74 members got selected during the campus drives organised by HGS, IBM and Vinuthna Fertilizers in 2016-17.
