Two killed due to lightning

Vizianagaram: Thunderstorms and lightning claimed two lives in Mentada mandal of Vizianagaram district. Ch Satyanarayana (35), a native of Poram village, took his cattle for grazing at the fields on Saturday evening. However, he failed to return home. He was struck by lightning and died.

Family members found his dead body at the field on Sunday morning. In another incident, M Ramakrishna (40) of Amarayavalasa in the same mandal, also died when lightning struck him while he was in agricultural field. The police sent the two bodies for post-mortem.
