Cops stand by Family of their Late Colleague
The police constables in the Prakasam district and their counterparts in the special party collected Rs 3,65,800 to help the kin of a constable died with heart attack recently.
Ongole: The police constables in the Prakasam district and their counterparts in the special party collected Rs 3,65,800 to help the kin of a constable died with heart attack recently.
According to the Prakasam district police, M Jayasimha Reddy was a 2009 batch police constable with badge number 1321.
He was working in the special party for a while before he died of cardiac arrest recently.
To help the family of the deceased, the 2009 batch civil police constables collected Rs2,33,800 and district special party police collected Rs 1,32,000, a total of Rs 3,65,800 and handed over the same to the parents of the constable Edukondalu Reddy, Satyavati and his wife Kalyani through District SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu.
The SP assured the family that he would make sure the benefits from the government reach them as soon as possible.
The DSP of women police station, B Lakshmi Narayana, special party RI Rajarao, RSI Prasad, district police association president Narra Venkata Reddy, state organizing secretary Lingam Ramanatham and constables from the 2009 batch and special party also participated in the programme and offered moral support to the family.
