DYFI demands `2,000 dole

Kakinada: The DYFI East Godavari unit demanded that the State government to extend Rs 2,000 dole per month instead of Rs 1,000 as announced by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

At a meeting organised at Sumndarayya Bhavan here on Sunday, the speakers demanded that the government the said unemployment allowance should be paid with effect from 2014.

The district unit president of DYFI, K Lova Raju, district committee member P Veerababu and others spoke.
