Thanks to an increasing awareness on issues relating to health, people have starting cycling again and making it as a regular exercise every day. Meanwhile, doctors are also advising people that cycling is the best physical exercise to remain healthy.

In fact, with the practice of cycling every day, the body will be healthy and fit. If a person rides cycle for about 2-3 km daily, it increases the cardiovascular fitness, increases muscle strength and flexibility, improves joint mobility, decreases stress levels, improves posture and coordination, strengthens bones and decreases fat and cholesterol levels.

In the current fast-food culture, with no physical exercise and less sleeping hours, people are facing health problems. Women are also facing severe health issues due to rapid mechanization.

The treadmill and in-house cycling may not make them completely fit. Regular cycling in open areas will be a boon to human body, says fitness trainer in Anjaneya Vyayamasala Ch Krishna. “Cycling is the best exercise and it is also not a costly affair.

Even in city life, if a person daily practices 2-3 km of cycling, his/her health condition will be good. With good cycling exercise, the person will have a good sleep also. It is observed that by riding cycling, most people got a big relief from snoring,” said senior physician Dr K Satyanarayana.

According to scientific studies, it is proved the cycling can hold back the effects of aging. Scientists carried out tests and found the senior citizens who regularly practice cycling are very healthy. The people should stop and reduce the usage of electronic gadgets and other mechanical tools at least in the daily needs at home, Dr Satyanarayana suggested.
