Vijayawada: The leaders of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF), Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and All India Students Federation (AISF) jointly demanded that the state government include all the unemployed in the state as beneficiaries for the unemployment dole announced by the government recently.

They asked the government to increase the unemployment dole to Rs 2,000 as promised at the time of elections.

In this regard, a memorandum was submitted to AP State Youth Services joint director HRK Prasad Rao here on Tuesday.

AIYF state president Syed Anwar said that according to the survey conducted by the government, there were about 34 lakh unemployed youth who had completed Class X and above.

He demanded that the government should also consider youth who did not complete Class X under the scheme.

DYFI state president G Rananna said that as per the poll promises, the government has to fill all government vacancies through competitive examination.

AIYF state coordination member M Arun Kumar, DYFI state secretary T Praveen and others were present.
