TTD Trust Board Chairman P Sudhakar Yadav and Executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal spoke to the media after the conclusion of the Board meeting on Tuesday.

The EO reiterated that all jewels of Lord Balaji were safe as per the records. He said,”We have also consulted our legal advisors, on how to proceed legally against those who raised doubts about the safety of jewels to clear the doubts among the pilgrims. We are planning to file civil defamation suit against Ramana Deekshitulu. We are ready for display of jewels if the Agama advisors permit us to do so.”

The EO said that all the board members would conduct an inspection of Srivari jewellery on June 26 as per Thiruvabaranam register (ornaments record.

Board Chairman Sudhakar Yadav informed that the estimated expenditure to construct Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in Dalitwadas, Girijanawadas, and fisherman communities was enhanced from Rs 8 lakh to 10 lakh. A Veda Pathasala would be set up at Nagalapuram temple. The board took a decision to set up Sri Balaji Veda Pariposhana Trust in SV Vedic University.

TTD will provide all privileges to the donors on par with other donation schemes. In the view of employees’ welfare, Rs 4.84 crore was released to purchase medicines and other surgical equipment in TTD hospitals. The Board gave its nod to allot 19.15 acres of land to set up a science museum and 50.96 acres for science city near S V Zoo Park on Alipiri Road.

It has been decided to allot 25 acres of land to TATA Trust Cancer Hospital on lease basis at Rs 1 lakh per acre per year for a period of 33 years. The Bard sanctioned funds for training of priests in Agamas and tradition on June 9 and 10 at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple located in Pittsburgh, USA.
