Amravati : Betrayal became the policy of BJP, said finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu while reacting strongly to the criticism by its Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao of the TDP government.
He described the comments by the BJP MP that the TDP was indulging in “spit-and-run’ politics as an affront to the people of Andhra Pradesh state, Ramakrishnudu said the people are ready to teach a lesson to the Modi government which had failed on all fronts.
“The TDP has been pursuing a fair policy of ‘demand, fight and achieve’ for the last 36 and it would be the driving force of the party forever,” he said in a release on Tuesday. He said the BJP had not done justice to the state despite completing four years in office and is now blaming TDP for its failure. “Once the BJP was known for reliability but not anymore. It has now become a party of ‘treachery’,” he said.
Yanamala said this was not only the view of UPA alliance parties but also of the NDA allies in the country. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah are indulging in destructive politics in the country. This is not good for the nation as well as the society,” Ramakrishnudu warned.
He accused the Prime Minister of meting out injustice not only to non-BJP ruled states but also the NDA-ruled states by trying to take control of states’ resources and powers and thus severely affecting their growth and progress. “The BJP government has failed to implement any good policy at national level in the last four years. The people of entire nation have turned against the Prime Minister and the BJP,” he said.
