Amaravati: Some people were trying to blame government despite getting benefits from welfare schemes, said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Quoting an incident, he said a farmer raised a grievance at a village during a public meeting on the fourth day of the Nava Nirmana Deeksha that he did not get benefits under the farm loan waiver scheme. Then the officials verified the records and revealed the facts on the spot.

Not only the farmer, his wife also benefitted from the loan waiver scheme, Naidu pointed out. He asked the officials to establish the facts and truth on the public domain which would act as a counter to the baseless criticism and misleading statements of the Opposition.

Appreciating the efforts of the officials in successfully organising the ongoing Nava Nirmana Deeksha (NND), Chandrababu Naidu urged them to continue the same spirit till the end of the programme on June 8.

Our state should emerge as Happy Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister said and suggested to officials to put in efforts to achieve the goal.
He said that the rank of AP in Happiness Index increased this year when compared to the previous year.

On the fourth day of the Deeksha on Tuesday, about 27 lakh people took part and the officials visited development works in 13,607 villages across the State.

The officials visiting to the villages must explain the developmental plans proposed for the respective villages, Chandrababu Naidu directed. He
further suggested to them to identify growth engines for each village.
