Vijayawada: TDP Members of Parliament Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) and Konakalla Narayana said that they would form a Third Front against the Centre soon under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy should walk along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in view of State development, they asked. Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, they said that Jaganmohan Reddy should have taken decision to make his party MLAs resign along with the MPs. The Telugu Desam party would prove its strength whenever the election is announced, they said.

Konakalla Narayana termed the resignation of YSR Congress MPs a drama. Though the MPs of YSR Congress resigned from their membership, the elections might not ensue, he opined. He flayed Jagan for indulging in double standards.

He asked the YSR Congress leaders to tell the facts about the resignations and their efforts to get acceptance from the Speaker. He pointed out that the resignations of the MPs of Karnataka were accepted immediately and wondered why the resignations of the YSR Congress were still pending with the Lok Sabha Speaker.

He said that there was something fishy behind the decision of not accepting the resignations of YSR Congress MPs. He also questioned the YSR Congress president as to how the MPs were still enjoying the benefits as Parliament members.

He said the Telugu Desam was fighting against the Centre for protecting the interests of the State. The Telugu Desam would not be afraid if the Centre foisted false cases, Narayana said.

MP Kesineni Srinivas alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy had colluded with the Centre to get relaxation from his disproportionate assets cases. He said the MPs of YSR Congress were enacting a drama as there was no chance of elections in the next one year.

The Opposition leader would be treated as a traitor if he does not come along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for protecting the interests of the people, he said.
