Vijayawada: By introducing technical teaching methodology, the learning skills of the students will improve, said IIT Chennai retired Prof Dr Oleti Venkata Krishnaiah Chetty. He was the chief guest at the faculty training programme organised by Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) of Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Chetty said that the faculty should improve teaching skills to enable the students learn better. He said by improving technical teaching methods by the faculty, they can bring out hidden creative qualities from the students.

He stressed the need for improving creative teaching skills by the faculty which would benefit the students. He said that the faculty should make use of the latest technical teaching support to create interest in the students on studies, he added.

College principal Dr V Narayana Rao said every year faculty training programme was organised to improve teaching skills of the faculty. He said that the faculty should create interest in the students on studies by their teaching techniques and this programme will enable the faculty a lot, he added.

Resource persons Dr A Patanjali Shastry, B Srikanth Reddy, IQAC convener Dr V Subhasini, college vice-principals E Varaprasad and Dr K Naveen Kumar, senior faculty and others participated in the programme.
