Yanamala reviews East Godavari development
Finance and legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu reviewed development of East Godavari district sector-wise and the district GDDP with the officials at his camp office at Timmapuram in Kakinada  Rural on Wednesday.
Kakinada: Finance and legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu reviewed development of East Godavari district sector-wise and the district GDDP with the officials at his camp office at Timmapuram in Kakinada Rural on Wednesday. He observed that Kakinada urban stands first in industrial and service sectors and Mandapeta in agriculture sector as far as mandal-wise development is concerned .
As far as district development linked to GDDP at state level is concerned, East Godavari stands in third places while Krishna and Visakhapatnam occupy first and second places As far as GVA (gross value added, which refers to value of goods and services produced in an area, industry or sector) at district level is concerned Kakinada Urban stands first in industrial development with Rs 2,187 crore followed by Rajamahedravaram urban , Sakhinetipalli, Prathipadu, Mandapeta, Samarla Kota, Rajamahendravaram rural, Kakinada Rural and Amalapuram.
As far as service sector is concerned, Kakinada urban stands first with Rs 5,065 core in GVA followed by Rajamahendravaram Urban, Kakinada Rural and Rajamahendravaram Rural.
