Youth held for impregnating minor
A minor girl was raped for six months by two youth in a village near Kanigiri. The incident came to light when the doctors declared that the girl was six months pregnant.According to M Subbarao CI of Kanigiri, a 17-year-old girl from Nilakanthapuram village in Hanumanthunipadu mandal is a high school dropout and farm labourer.
Kanigiri: A minor girl was raped for six months by two youth in a village near Kanigiri. The incident came to light when the doctors declared that the girl was six months pregnant. According to M Subbarao CI of Kanigiri, a 17-year-old girl from Nilakanthapuram village in Hanumanthunipadu mandal is a high school dropout and farm labourer.
Her father died a few years ago and she was working as a daily wage worker along with her mother. She was followed and trapped by two youth Bala Chennaiah and Ramesh from the same village. They raped the girl and threatened to kill her mother, if she tells anybody about the affair.The girl fell sick two days ago and her mother took her to a hospital where doctors informed her mother that the girl was carrying.
The mother of the girl lodged a complaint with police against two youth after the girl confessed to the trauma, she underwent for six months. Subba Rao announced that the accused were remanded in custody.
