Chittoor: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was striving hard for the development of the State particularly for construction of capital Amaravati and Polavaram Project, said Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy.

Instead of lauding his work, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to make false and baseless allegations through his news paper and electronic channel against Naidu to gain political mileage, the Minister said.

During the last four years, tremendous growth has been witnessed in agriculture, industries and power distribution besides housing schemes, he added. Participating at Nava Nirmana Deeksha meet held at Thamballapalli on Wednesday, Amaranatha Reddy said the YSRCP and Jana Sena had joined hands with the BJP with an objective to defeat TDP in the next elections.

However, they would suffer a reverse in elections. The TDP under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would win three-fourths of the Assembly seats in the State in 2019, the Minister predicted. The YSRCP and Jana Sena would have to down their shutters, he said.
Recalling the role of the Congress party in the bifurcation of the State, he said the party would disappear in the next elections.

Amaranatha Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu had resolved to develop Kuppam, Palamaner, Punganur and Madanapalli besides Thamballapalli Assembly constituencies keeping the chronic drought conditions prevailing in the western parts of Chittoor district.

He said the Chief Minister would visit Punganur and Madanapalli Assembly segments in the district on Thursday and take part in Nava Nirmana Deeksha. He called upon TDP activists to make the Chief Minister’s visit a grand success. The Minister said there was tremendous response from the people to the Deeksha during the last five days.

Former MP Sai Prathap said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would certainly achieve the Special Category Status to the state under any circumstances despite the vindictive attitude of the BJP.
