Here is good news to the state government employees as the government is going to release the Pay Revision Commission arrears very soon.

Amaravati: Here is good news to the state government employees as the government is going to release the Pay Revision Commission arrears very soon. The Finance department has taken a decision to release the PRC arrears of regular employees, pensioners and those under CPS. With this decision, there will be a huge burden on the exchequer, to a tune of Rs 3,939 crore. Out of the total amount, the government will release Rs 1,710 crore with immediate effect, as first instalment.

In the first instalment, the regular employees will get Rs 260 crore as arrears and pensioners will get Rs 215 crore and the CPS employees will get Rs 734 crore. In the Compensatory Pension Scheme (CPS), the state government will directly transfer 90 per cent of the amount to the employees’ accounts and the remaining 10 percent will be deposited in the Scheme. This decision was approved by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu after discussing with the NGOs and other employees’ unions and the same was approved by the State Cabinet.

Speaking to the journalists, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu also hinted that they will deposit the first instalment in the employees’ accounts as early as possible. The officials of Finance Department stated that they will release the Government Order very soon in this regard.
