Madanapalle (Chittoor): Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu declared the state as complete ODF state as all individual toilets were built in all the villages by March 31. Speaking at a public meeting here on Thursday, Naidu said that urban areas have become ODF in 2016 itself and now rural areas also followed suit.

He congratulated all those who worked for achieving the task. He appealed DWACRA women and members of Sadhikara Mithras to see that everyone uses toilets. The Chief Minister also launched a mobile app for solid and liquid waste management in the state. Through the app, the working of green ambassadors who visit door-to-door to collect waste, can be monitored as the information directly goes to CM’s dash board.

Naidu said that he took steps to keep one tractor in every village to collect animal dung which will be stored for entire village and can be used for their fields as compost. To see happiness on the faces of women, Deepam scheme was introduced earlier, he said.

Naidu, strongly hoped that TDP will win in next elections and will be a historical need and people should vote the party to teach a fitting lesson to BJP and YCRCP who have colluded to defame TDP. During the last four years, YCRCP MLAs never approached government seeking development activities he said.

The government has implemented all development schemes in Madanapalle, Punganur and Piler. ``When we are doing all works, why should they get votes. They will be busy with court cases even if they win some seats", Naidu ridiculed. He assured all development even without centre's cooperation.

He referred Chandramakula Palli which he visited earlier as a beautiful and pleasant place and said that he was committed to develop every village like that. Listing the achievements, he said because of farm ponds which he encouraged in a big way, ground water levels have gone up significantly. "We have brought 140 TMC water to Rayalaseema and will take every step to make the region flourish.

Through Handri-Neeva water will be given to Madanapalle, Punganur, Valmikipuram, Kuppam, Palamaner and Chittoor and fill all tanks en-route", he asserted. In the same breath eastern parts will be given water through Somasila-Swarnamukhi, Balaji, Venugopal Sagar and Mallemadugu reservoirs. Madanapalle has a big tomato market in entire Asia. It will be developed further to benefit farmers financially. Government has been taking steps to provide nutritious food to children and pregnant women.

He added that in the state, 163000 farmers have been doing natural farming. For farmers welfare the government has waived off Rs.24000 crores agricultural loans even though RBI, Central government and banks have not agreed for it. He listed out other schemes like rice for Rs.5 a kg, Ramjan thofa, Pelli kanuka, Chandranna Bhima, pensions under NTR Bharosa, etc.
