Ongole: With the vision to be the best state in near future, the chief minister is using technology and he is capable of inspecting any office without moving from his office, announced Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao.

He participated in the closing day ceremony of Navanirmana Deeksha held in Ongole on Friday.

Speaking at the last day of Navanirmana Deeksha, Raghavarao announced that the state was way ahead in implementing the development oriented and welfare schemes.

He said that the state had given priority for infrastructure development and spent Rs 60,000 crore in the last four years and completed 17,000 kilometers of CC roads.

He announced that the sea ports and airports were also given importance in the state. He said that the welfare schemes were being implemented irrespective of parties and the government had provided electricity to all villages by 2016.

He promised to complete the Veligonda project on a war-footing and announced that the ideal state where poverty and economic barriers were not exist was the aim of the government.

Raghavarao announced that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was using technology like never before. He said that the Andhra Pradesh was the first state to organise a paperless e-Cabinet.

He said that the Meekosam Parishkara Vedika at 1100 was handling about 30,000 calls daily and the grievances of public were being addressed thoroughly.

With the use of technology, he said that the disaster management department was alerting the public about the thunderstorms, thunderbolts, floods, cyclones and other disasters in advance.

He said that about 20,000 CC cameras in various offices across the state were connected to the chief minister through the Real Time Governance and he was inspecting them suddenly.

District Collector Vadarevu Vinaychand, MLAs Damacharla Janardhana Rao, P David Raju, MLCs Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy, JC S Nagalakshmi, AJC D Markandeyulu and other public representatives and officials participated in the programme.
